I was playing with, and developing some sculpting skills in the years between attending art school and traditional college. This small piece is part of a series which I worked on at the time of America's bicentennial.

- In those wee hours of the morning; in those quiet, private times spent with the Lord; in those times of prayer and faithfully studying His word; that was when the Alpha & Omega Suite came to it's composer. This didn't happen instantaneously, but slowly and consistently over the course of nine years, beginning in 2000 and going through 2008. Accuracy to God's Word was more important than finishing the Suite quickly, which is a process that flies in contrast with the way things are normally done in our throw-away, media-centered culture. But, when dealing with the concept of God, it's important that our proclamation is based upon what He has revealed of Himself and not on the imaginations of fallen humanity.
