Currently arranging the Autumn version of 'Fallen From Lofty Heights' and am playing around with something I haven't used before. When the music gets to the Anthem (the part where the fall is realized), a synth choir comes in along with strings, and finishes to the end of the piece. The drama is much needed at that place.
I hope to post it within the next week.

- In those wee hours of the morning; in those quiet, private times spent with the Lord; in those times of prayer and faithfully studying His word; that was when the Alpha & Omega Suite came to it's composer. This didn't happen instantaneously, but slowly and consistently over the course of nine years, beginning in 2000 and going through 2008. Accuracy to God's Word was more important than finishing the Suite quickly, which is a process that flies in contrast with the way things are normally done in our throw-away, media-centered culture. But, when dealing with the concept of God, it's important that our proclamation is based upon what He has revealed of Himself and not on the imaginations of fallen humanity.
