A pencil is an incredible basic little tool that we often take for granted. When doing a quick sketch, the trick is to rapidly capture the feel and tone of what you are looking at. When used correctly, lines, shapes, and tones can emerge on the most simple sheet of paper or other material. Too many artists are guilty of not realizing that their pencil sketches, if executed correctly, are capable of standing on their own... sometimes letting the viewer into the true world of the artist like no other medium can.

- In those wee hours of the morning; in those quiet, private times spent with the Lord; in those times of prayer and faithfully studying His word; that was when the Alpha & Omega Suite came to it's composer. This didn't happen instantaneously, but slowly and consistently over the course of nine years, beginning in 2000 and going through 2008. Accuracy to God's Word was more important than finishing the Suite quickly, which is a process that flies in contrast with the way things are normally done in our throw-away, media-centered culture. But, when dealing with the concept of God, it's important that our proclamation is based upon what He has revealed of Himself and not on the imaginations of fallen humanity.
