As an artist and musician I agree with the Psalmist when he proclaims, "Praise the LORD with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre, praise Him with tambourine and dancing, praise Him with the strings and flute, praise Him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD." (Psalm 150)
Any other endeavor is an expression of not using our talents and abilities in the way they were designed to be manifested.

- In those wee hours of the morning; in those quiet, private times spent with the Lord; in those times of prayer and faithfully studying His word; that was when the Alpha & Omega Suite came to it's composer. This didn't happen instantaneously, but slowly and consistently over the course of nine years, beginning in 2000 and going through 2008. Accuracy to God's Word was more important than finishing the Suite quickly, which is a process that flies in contrast with the way things are normally done in our throw-away, media-centered culture. But, when dealing with the concept of God, it's important that our proclamation is based upon what He has revealed of Himself and not on the imaginations of fallen humanity.
