Rude, Crude & Lewd

The half century of my lifetime has produced real-world variations right from the pages of 'Lord of the Flies'. Though civilization hasn't reverted to our ancestor's tribal hunting ways, we have reverted to other primitive traits which textbooks once considered to be left behind in humanity's distant past. We have taken family, community, emotions, civility, adornment, and other traits once considered to be part of an advanced civilization and rejected them for their immature counterparts. No longer do we accept the National Geographic definition of what separates the civilized from the primitive. (Sadly, it looks like even National Geographic no longer agrees with their previous stance.)
