Be on your guard against the flattering 'words of honey' from a smooth talker. Though their flattery gives the impression they are elevating you and lifting you up, in reality, their praise is offered with the goal of getting what they want. Their selfish intentions mean they will end-up meeting their own desires, regardless of what you get out of it.
