When the gate was opened for the Trojan Horse, the residents had no idea of the deadly surprise hidden within. We too have our deceptive Trojan Horses... they are naturally a part of life. Some we will let enter and later deal with the unwelcome excess baggage they have brought. Others we won't open the door for, choosing to avoid the good in fear of the possibility of releasing the bad. But the worst of all are those horses brought in with no immediate and evident consequences... only much later revealing their slow acting hidden poison after it has already been ingested and done it's harm.

- In those wee hours of the morning; in those quiet, private times spent with the Lord; in those times of prayer and faithfully studying His word; that was when the Alpha & Omega Suite came to it's composer. This didn't happen instantaneously, but slowly and consistently over the course of nine years, beginning in 2000 and going through 2008. Accuracy to God's Word was more important than finishing the Suite quickly, which is a process that flies in contrast with the way things are normally done in our throw-away, media-centered culture. But, when dealing with the concept of God, it's important that our proclamation is based upon what He has revealed of Himself and not on the imaginations of fallen humanity.
