Whoever said Jesus is this sweet man of peace, forever meek and mild, having only 'feel good' messages, pure pacifist, and backing down to all? Boy... that sure is a 180° incorrect image! The man-of-God had far more to say about how crappy we are than he did to make us feel good. He not only kept telling us just how bad we are, but he also kept stressing things only get worse for us!
He emphasized that our priorities are so totally out of whack that we continuously look-up-to and idolize the wrong people, places, and things. He even points out that our favorite proselytizing non-believing philosophers and intellectuals are going to have it worse off than those who we consider to be heinous and deserving of punishment. "Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea."
The man's either a total lunatic, or he actually knew what he was talking about. Better make you think and consider.
