Parents in conflict

The courtroom cameras show two sets of parents...
Both of them crying...
Both of them in obvious pain.

One set are parents of the victim.
They cry for their loss.
Their pain is for the horrible way their child was taken.
They will never see their baby again... in this life.

The other set are parents of the accused.
They cry for the fate of their child-gone-wrong.
Their pain covers the multi-faceted crime and destiny of their baby.
Where did this child go wrong?
Where did they go wrong?

These parents are on opposite worlds...
and yet they aren't.
